Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight (MTADS) Practice Exam

This button is used to synchronize the RHG with the CPG’s targeting choices. When pressed, the RHG “slaves” to whatever sight the CPG has selected and enables cueing to the currently chosen acquisition source. In practice, this means the RHG will mirror the CPG’s optics and the related cues so both crew members are seeing and designating the same target using the same sensor data. It’s not for powering up the system, changing brightness, or starting a recording.
